JoJo Rabbit

To say I loved this film is a gross understatement.
Scarlett’s hats, Jojo’s lovely pal Yorki, Sam Rockwell in drag, Taika Waititi in front of and behind the camera and Bowie’s Heroes in German with a Rilke poem as the screen goes dark make Jojo Rabbit something else.
So many human experiences, the best and worst of us, and Scarlett’s character (Jojo’s mother) choosing to remain her warm, upbeat, quirky self rather than be quashed by the desolation of the times.
