Brain Pickings

I’ve been following Maria Popova’s Brain Pickings off and on for years and recently refound it I suppose.
It’s a blog and a weekly newsletter the content for which Maria (author and life philosopher extraordinaire) travels seemingly to the far reaches of time and space. I’m always lulled by her observations into a greater appreciation for life and being human.
And her books A Velocity of Being and Figuring are beyond wonderful…
