Purpose schmurpose

If you get caught up trying to work out what to do with your life, especially now that for many of us life as we know it has turned upside down, I have something you can try on for size…

The idea of purpose is made up.
There is no divine purpose other than to love.
For everything else just do what feels good inside.

Could it be that easy?
Why not?
All the reasons your thinking (your thinking - not you’re thinking) might be scrabbling to come up with are made up too.
They’re just thoughts.
Thoughts are not the truth even though they do an amazing job of looking like it.
They’re just thoughts.
You can entertain them, or not.
Another thought will be along in a moment to replace that one.
So you can relax.
And do what feels good instead - you might find yourself feeling more purposeful than ever.
